Blessed With A Family Cabin On Sproat Lake, British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦
I have been coming to Sproat Lake for years, favourite spot as a kid for swimming. Warm and clean water with very little underwater debris around the public swimming areas. I never had a cabin to enjoy as a kid, it was always the rich kids that had the pleasure of being able to stay where they intend to enjoy their summers.
Mel’s sister Tandy allows us to use their cabin as if it is our own, just have to give a little notice. Straight across from the landslide on the other side of the lake we find their free fresh water spring, the only thing required is bringing food with us for the time we intend to stay.
Jerry enjoys it here though afraid of he water he is now getting comfortable on the dock. This shot he is eyeballing the neighbours dog whom was just in the water swimming, Jerry was more concerned about the dog in the water than the dog itself 😅

When your tired of the sun on the dock there is always the upper shaded area to hang out still on the waters edge.
This cabin has been a blessing, without it we would be heading to the crowded public beaches and rather than enjoying our relaxation in peace we would be required to pay closer attention to Jerry amongst the other dogs.
We don’t have many things to look forward to but relaxing at the family cabin on Sproat Lake has become something we long for no matter the time of year ❤️

Wow that is just the perfect spot to relax and recharge @d00k13, and it looks really beautiful on the pictures, plus Jerry is such a great dog, and nice that he gets comfortable around the water.
Taking the time to relax is really very important, it keeps us healthy and in a good mental condition, enjoy your vacation, it's awesome.
