The Storm is Coming...
I know that you are expecting something connected to STEEM, markets, tokens, and other stuff figuratively, but the storm is coming literally in the area where I live. I live at the seaside of the Medditerean Sea and we are really lucky to have around 300 sunny days per year, but when the rain comes, it usually hits hard...
Here in Spain, they call it "gota fría", which literally means cold drop, and it usually comes in the summer, or like these days, at the end of the summer. Cold air mixed with warm sea vaporizing water, creates a perfect mix for heavy rains. We are expecting our to start in a few hours and the weather forecast says that it will last at least two days.
I have taken these few photos 3-4 hours ago...
And now, it is exactly as every time before the storm... It is quiet, without wind, rain... We will see in the next few hours how it goes...
Speaking of quiet things, markets are also very quiet last 2-3 days after that small push-up of BTC to $11K.
Speaking of STEEM, it is still around 16-17c which is good, but there is some awesome news coming from Steemit.com... They have decided to stop selling their STEEM (they were doing that to be able to maintain their developers and infrastructure) and you can find more details about that here. Yes, they have said that it is maybe just temporary, but hey, that is also something :)
Our #CTP token has dropped in price, so if you want to become Curator, you have a great opportunity now to buy a bunch of tokens for a good price and stake them... ;)
Anyways... We are too much time in this quiet "area", the whole crypto community is on the edge, STEEM Fest is coming soon and everything is prepared for a Perfect Bull Storm... When will it come? Probably when we least expect it... :)

Not yet... The problem is that these rains hit hard in a short amount of time... for example, they say that it will fall around 100-150 liters of water per square meter in 1 hour... That's a lot...

Take care of yourself in the storm @ph1102, and as to the one on Steem, if Steemit continues to halt any power down, and the burner campaign by the whales really take off, then maybe the price will not continue down, but othewise my opinion is still that the price is too high for the utility that it currently provides, namely to cover the need of RC and as the main trading pair for S-E tokens, and that is because for new Steemians then Steem is no longer the token where they have the majority of their earnings, but they earn the best in the tokens, even I do that given that I do not have an upvote from Dtube, in that case the value in Steem is still higher.
That's my view anyways, by the way as we talked about leasing SP yesterday, I just leased another 200 SP for 18 weeks at 15.3 Steem, stay awesome.

We will see about the price... A lot of people are saying that STEEM will hit that 10c price and then make a turnaround... Don't know what to think, and maybe it's better not to think about the price at all...
Build stuff and continue with an everyday battle of creating, helping and engaging... Something good will born from doing good things... ;)
Exactly the right attitude, that is what I am focused on, though it does help to know what happens when making decisions.

Let the market set the price, trying to manipulate markets is one of the quickest ways to lose market participants. Usually, before I consider investing in a token I want to see how widely it is distributed. If it concentrated in a few hands I will avoid direct investment in it. The one exception I have made is the CTP token, and that is because it is still very new and has the possibility to become widely distributed in its niche community.
Exactly... The market will set the price in either way... Nobody likes a monopoly and manipulations with coins/tokens... Usually, those projects are shortly aged... CTP token is searching for its place and I'm sure that we will see some great use case for it...
