Netflix versus Amazon Prime

I know this lockdown series was a bit hard to endure, unless you are a movie afficionado, in which case you could catch up with all the other 12 series that you were always updating.

Netflix was a good comrade in this quest, and while they are not that bad, their limited number of movies will eventually be the end of it, as they will only get a couple of new movies per month, so after 6-8 months i'd seen most of their good movies and few bad ones.

So, being in holiday, i want to treat myself from the 1000$ profit made on Cubdefi.com, and i got Amazon Prime. I knew that they have some old but gold series like Highlander (the Adrian Paul one), Raven, Sanctuary and Forever, but surprise, almost every movie or TV series i like needs to be paid, and the amount of movies that are free with Amazon Prime is not that big. Yes, they got the sport channels, in case i want to see some select football games or tennis, but that's it. I am looking to find another provider, any ideas?

So yeah, between the two of them, i think Netflix offers more value for your money, and i will not even discuss about Disney+ (as i could see most of the stuff i like in like 2 weeks of holiday, courtesy to my little brother account, so except the latest Marvel series, this has no use for me).

What do you do to satisfy your movies thirst, now that the cinema is closed?

Yours truly

George

I'm still stuck on cable. The pay channels like HBO, STARZ, Showtime etc. still provide enough content to keep me satisfied. I would suggest looking into some of the documentaries on Netflix and Amazon though. There are some amazing stories being told in those that most people never see.

When it comes to netflix I think they push for TV shows more than Movies cause TV shows will keep you coming back as with movies you watch and may never sub to the platform again.

With prime I don't think they push it enough to even compete with netflix
