My #1 Summer 2021 Challenge: Reboot My Online Business!

Hi everybody!

It's been a while since my last post, so here's a quick update on where I'm at and what I'm aiming to do over the summer now that I've nearly completed my college teaching contracts for the spring-summer term.

This has been a rather trying college term.

Firstly, because a "State of Emergency" was announced in Hiroshima and some other prefectures of Japan to deal with the second wave of the virus and both my colleges reverted to online teaching two or three weeks into the new term.

Thankfully, we were able to return to face-to-face teaching after a couple of weeks, but it caused quite a lot of disruption to the courses I was teaching.

Secondly, a full-time professor at one college fell ill and I was asked to take over one of his courses at short notice, and to absorb another of his classes into one of mine as we were teaching the same subject.

Of course, I took them on, but since the students are required to submit assignments every week, my out-of-class workload for that class suddenly doubled - from 24 homework emails to 48 homework emails flooding my inbox every week!

I mean, it's enough to drive a chap to drink - if he didn't drink already, that is...

Maintaining a Social Life!

Drink, and watch the footie! Ah, the European Championships provided a fine distraction for a few weeks. When England got through to the finals I decided to go out and celebrate while I could as I didn't expect England to beat Italy. Wise decision!

Here I am feeling pretty chipper with life, celebrating England actually making it to the finals of an international competition for the first time since the year of glory, 1966! LOL!

Happily, Japan has not been in "lockdown" and we have been able to maintain the semblance of a social life and I must admit I have grabbed those cheerful distractions at every opportunity!

Even so, during the "State of Emergency" I refrained from organising any "chess parties," and held the first one for a few months last weekend. One of my friends made a pretty good video of the event:

So What About My "Online Business"?

For the last three months my "online business" (if I can call it that) has been in "maintenance mode" - that is, I have been doing the bare minimum to keep things running:

  • approving ads and deleting fake accounts on EliteDownlineBuilder.com every day

  • accumulating satoshi on FreeBitcoin every day

  • sending out viral mailer emails every so often

  • accumulating small amounts of Hive and CTP tokens from time to time.

Even so,

  • affiliate commissions have continued to trickle in from my "Top 5 Programs". (When those commissions come in the form of BTC I have sent them over to my FreeBitcoin account so that they will earn interest.)

  • I switched some of my BTC balance into 50,000 FUN tokens on FreeBitcoin.

  • I have continued to stack CTP and Hive, though much more slowly than before.

  • My own site, EDB, is in profit over this period, and has grown to 970 confirmed (double opt in) members.

What Are My Plans For My Business The Summer?

As the headline to this article suggests, my first priority is to "reboot" my online business.

Most of the focus for that will be on my EliteDownlineBuilder site.

  • I intend to create a lot more videos and blog posts about how to use the site to build your downlines in the "Top 5 Programs" that the site supports as well as how to use it to grow your crypto holdings in BTC, Hive, CTP, and BCH (Bitcoin Cash).

  • My other target is to hit 40,000 CTP tokens, which means you should be seeing a bit more of me on CTPTalk over the next few weeks!

Cheers!
