Community Growth Report for 23rd June 2021

Community growth has saturated now. There is a downward trend in the growth of the active users and so is the downward growth in the interactions.
If we have to grow as the community then we need to have rules and regulations in place. @vempromundo and @amr008 made a few suggestions in their posts. But I feel that the regulations should not be stringent to discourage the users from joining this community.

Impact of Daily POB

This initiative is started by @vempromundo.pob and is comparatively new. However, the action was seen. Out of the total engagement Daily POB contributes to 5.16% of the total interactions.

At-least the numbers of the last eight weeks tell us the story that #pob is growing organically.
The community growth report based on the parameters I have already identified reveals that in absolute numbers the community is obviously growing but the % growth has now started stabilizing.

Highlights of the week

• 1032 (Last week 949) subscribers to the community - Growth of 13.4%.
• 804 (Last week 946) active users who may not be subscribers but are actively posting through the different platforms using tag of proofofbrain. This is a worrying aspect as the users build the community.
• There are about 3759 (Last week 3578) investors who are holding at-least one or more token of #pob

Engagement is the Key

The biggest and the most important number for the POB community was the interactions. However, due to reduction in the active users we are seeing a significant decrease in the engagement as well.

As the community grows, engagement per user decreases. It is a simple maths. The denominator increases faster than the numerator. Since last couple of weeks the engagement per user is falling.

Based on the above numbers it is quite evident that the community has now entered the consolidation phase.
In coming weeks, the impact and engagement may have a different perspective. As the community grows in users, their behavior is likely to change based on the tokenomics.
