The Ghost Detective (2018) || TV series review

One of the most entertaining Tv series which made me think twice while watching it. I am not really interested in ghost or witches that much, may that it be in movies or Tv series so I tend to avoid them at all times, I would rather watch a sci-fi movie then this. But The Ghost Detective series was also a recommendation from a friend circle and it was from a legit source aka from a Tv series addict. Like I previously said how much of a fan I am for Thriller Korean movies or Tv series .So after a nice research of my own I had to give this series a shot and try it out.

The Ghost Detective is a south Korean horror, thriller TV series which was aired in September 5, 2018. It has 32 episodes. Language Korean, I used subtitles to watch them.

Let us get to know why this Tv series attracted me and how much I enjoyed the time watching this series. To start with I must say the thriller Tv series or movies really attracts me very much and this was one of the best reason to try this series out.

The story is about a detective "Lee Da-il" who works independently for clients to catch the guilty parties. He and "Han Sang-Sub" runs their activities by their agency named A Few Good Men' agency. While "Lee Da-il" is really good at his job and he takes those cases which makes him interested in them.

The story starts a little slow for the first few episodes and in the very first case of his (that was displayed in the series) an accident happens with him which really makes his world go upside down. A new world really comes into place for him and with him another character of the series "Jung Yeo-wool" she began to be a part of his crew and helps him solve cases which were very unusual (ghost related) to police or any other authorities. The twist of the series starts from those points in the series.

The catching of "Sunwoo Hye" who was performing all the evil activities towards others it was becoming nearly impossible. They try to find out how she mysteriously appears and disappears on every crime scenes and how she gets un-noticed every time from every crimes she commits.



Like I stated this a ghost TV series so there are some twists which you will have to find out by watching the series. How Lee Da-il gets to think like the killer and how she disappears from the crime scene and if she is a ghost then how only Lee Da-il & Ung Yeo-wool gets to see her. I will leave the spoiler at the end hopefully you will skip it to enjoy the series.

Unlike other thriller genre series here are also some other characters who were also very much active in the series and they also played some significant roles in the series. If I really have to say how I felt about this series, I must say all the twists when you find out who these characters are and how they are playing the roles is what kept me in watching the series. I must say my time was well spend watching this series. If you really like thriller genre Tv series then I do suggest you to watch this series.

Like I said above Lee Da-il goes through an accident in the first case, apparently he dies out there and both the lead charecters are interconnected. Only Ung Yeo-wool can see and feel Lee Da-il after his death. Without each other they can not move on in the series and their chemistry gets deeper as the series goes on. Likewise, Sunwoo Hye is a ghost as well who is just psycho killing innocent people for the entertainment purpose and lot more.
