Watch out for Ego!

I just started playing risingstar a couple weeks ago. This game has been around for a long time but I just have never jumped in. I saw that a bunch of people over in the ctp community play it and seem to really enjoy it.

So following the usual dkid fashion I jumped in bought a bunch of cards and didn't really learn the game. Turns out I refreshed my cards and saw that my ego meeter was almost to 50%.

So I have spent the last week fixing that issue. See below to see that I am now at 0% ego. Feels good to be so humble again! 😀

I also just spent 10 hive.swap to pick up a 1 year birthday cake card. There are a limited number of them and I think it will be a good card to have in the collection.

What is some other good tips for a new risingstar player?

Just started messing with ego the other day. It's not all that bad but does slow down progression a bit as you have to keep doing lessons so you can keep earning good STAR from your plays.

Buy cold pizza slices and pizza boxes so you don't run out of energy as often. I think its cheaper to convert HIVE into Starbits then buy the cards given the current prices on HE (same for the birthday cake card you just bought).

For skill, I suggest looking through all the music lessons you can do and pick the one with the most skill. It is calculated based on the total luck of of that specific instrument cards you have. So I would suggest you pick a specific instrument to focus on.

Welcome on board! Ego plays tricky. To deal with you need to have more skills than your fans. The best way to go about is to keep doing the Music lessons till level 50. Good Luck and look forward to seeing you as an awesome Rock Star.
