Rising Star: Swarmandal Instrument NFT Giveaway #6

I don't know but this week was horrible for me game-wise. I even missed a day of the Starbit Millionaire quest so it set me back on opening my packs. However, I did gain one band member since my last post so it has been about 2 band members in 3 weeks so far. At this rate, I am guessing I need either 2 or 3 more weeks to finish getting the last 2 band members.

Out of the 12 packs I opened, I got 3 Swarmandal cards. Unlike last week, this one still has some time before it goes out of print. But its not part of the instruments I do for music lessons either way.

This is part of the Orchestral instruments and it also has a stat bonus of 60 luck.

Current Status

Besides my lack of time to do missions, I did get lucky enough to open a second slot. I am getting really tired of the band auditions though.

As part of my pack openings, I have gotten my first Epic vechicle: E19 Trike. With 1.2k fans and 10 IM, I think it will definitely help me boost my starbits earnings and help me in my ranking. I haven't really been doing music lessons but my lead in kill has decreased a little bit since last time due to this card. But it definitely is a welcome addition to my current collection.

Current Goals

No real change to my goals so it is still the same as last week. The rewards pool also did not increase this week so no changes to the second goal either.

I made some slight progress towards unlocking all the band members but it definitely is a long grind.

I definitely had less time so it hurt my rankings and my new cards are not yet added to the rankings update. This is because I had to rely on a Starbits Millionaire mission after the reset to gain the required starbits for the packs. However I do think I will see a nice boost in my rankings next week given the Epic card I drew today.

As I stated before in my previous post, I think the giveaways will probably still be once a week. But I fully expect it to turn into every 6 days once I unlock all my band members. The difference between band auditions and a starbits mission is more or less 1k starbits a day.

Tips (source)

I think the tips are something every new player should know about. It will help people progress in the game and it hasn't really been shared since surya1adiga stopped his giveaways.

1. Take music lessons when possible to raise skill and reduce ego.
2. Having lesson specific instruments helps in receiving more skill from that lesson.
3. Have pizza box to store any pizza received during mission to reuse later.
4. Buy cold pizza slice if possible. This gives 1 refill every 24hours. Comes very handy when you are low on energy.
5. If you have enough of cold pizza slice and pizza box, you will never run out of energy.
6. If you have more fans than skill and you want reduce the ego , you can use a storage trailer to store unnecessary cards. Or you can list the card in market for an unreasonably high price.
7. Ego received for a particular mission increases every time you play it. The ego is reset to base level the next day. So, try to play different missions to control the ego gained.
8. Keep track of your achievements to unlock in game rewards
9. Buy storage trailer (only if necessary) to keep the cards that might have a negative effect. Like a card with high fan count resulting in ego.
10. When earning skill points through music lessons, you can earn more points per lesson if you hold more of specific instrument cards. There seems to be base skill which is rewarded irrespective of the card count and then the skill increases depending on the number of the lesson specific card one has.
11. Try taking up many smaller missions to fill up pizza boxes and have extra energy to play more rewarding missions. But you need to have pizza boxes for this to work.
