9th November SPI Club Meeting - Share your thoughts about what you think we need to talk about
Hello everyone, this Saturday the 9th of November, there is a planned club member discord meeting. Not a lot of members have confirmed are unconfirmed yet but i expect (hope) the list to fill up toward the end of the week as we get closer. What we need to do now within the next few days is to decide what's needs to be talked about. I said that we need to plan at least 1 task from start to finish in this meeting just to see if we can. I would suggest something simple like design contests for @spinvest-leo and @spinvest-votes account profiles pictures. This is something we should be able to arrange very simply and within 10 minutes.
Steem powered investments @spinvest has been set up to offer an investment fund based on funding from STEEM POWER. Investments are funded through extracting value out of STEEM POWER and taking advantage of STEEM's high inflation rate. The aim is not to get rich quick; the aim is to build a safe portfolio of investments that will stand the test of time while ensuring all investors starting capital is not at risk. What else needs to be sorted?
During the last discord meeting there as talk about spreading the word of SteemPower Investments around a few other communities but no plan was made, maybe we could sort this out. We need to look into new ways to issue more tokens. 95% of SPI token buyers are the same people over and over. I would guess also that most of these investors have already bought the bulk of how many they would like to own and we need fresh blood. Remember a million is a really big number and based on avg tokens sales from launch, it'll take us 7 years to issue 1 million.
Having just thought very quickly i think there is a better way we can do this. Instead of me suggesting things that i think need to be sorted, why don't you as a club member leave a comment below with what you think needs sorted and I'll add it into the table below.

I have a question to raise though. If I look at the returns from dlease they have dropped to 15% or so... I know we have a lot of private leases but those will not keep paying those higher returns so what is the plan there?
Max out off-market leases and then go from there. It's possible to open an account were we provide leases for people. Leasees could pay weekly instead of having to pay all at once with dlease giving us an advantage and a good reason to charge a little extra. Just an idea. The target is 20% and has set up other accounts and having a few small streams of income ensures we'll hit our target. I'm not worried at all, its a bummer but we'll still hit target.
No joke - I just find this on dlease and had to snap it up. It's only 400SP but 26.5%. Typo are newbie, im not sure but we'll be having that, thank you :)

From minnows many new investors will not come. They fear that they will not receive support from some curators if they own an SPI. I know at least three users who prefer to sell SPI to get out of the blacklist of one big curator.
It would be worth trying to contact the curators and explain how the SPI works to remove the SPI holders from their black lists

There's is a blacklist for SPI token holders? They are only SE tokens. Do you know who these "curators" are cause i dont get downvotes on my personal account and this is the first im hearing about it.
I've written it somewhere. It is not a downvote, but the fact that SPI owners are excluded in advance from receiving the vote from the curator. So far I have confirmed this information about Curangel.
