What is SteemPower Investments?

SteemPower Investments is an investment club set up on the STEEM blockchain that offers 2 levels of token holders

Investors
These are SPI token holders that buy purely as an investment knowing that the core SPI plan is solid and will produce good yields long term. Investors are token holders and have no requirement to take part in the running of SteemPower Investments.
Confirmed Club Members
Confirmed members are investors that have committed to the SPI partnership agreement. These members are hardcore into learning, building a community and helping to ensure that SPI earns to best returns. These members can take part in club voting which currently includes picking off-platform investments and how much. Confirmed members are also invited to the quarterly club meetings held on discord were future planning, policy changes and earning structures are discussed.
Both investors and club members make the same return and there is no monetary reward to being a confirmed member

How does SPI make money

SteemPower Investments uses all of the STEEM POWER that backs its SPI tokens to earn up to 20% per year. SteemPower Investments' primary source of income comes from filling on and off market lease requests, post payouts including tribe token and increasingly from spinvest-Leo which is a steemleo curation trial. They say the proof is in the pudding so instead of trying to explain, here is a table of weekly earnings from last week earning's report.

That might not make a lot of sense to you but if you focus on 2 numbers beside the icons. The first one shows that spinvest held 55,182 SP at that time. The second number shows that spinvest made 325 STEEM that week. We can divide the total amount earned by total SP held to get a weekly ROI percentage, if we then multiply that number by 52 we get the yearly ROI which 30.6% based on that week.

How liquid is liquid?

The SPI token does ok for volume on the steem engine exchange, it ranges between 200-800 SPI tokens a day. I would say that anyone could cash out a few hundred SPI tokens in under a day, 1000 SPI tokens at a good price in under 3 days and a really good price 1-2 days. I'm not going lie and say if you buy 10,000 SPI tokens today, you'll be able to sell them all tomorrow. It might take a week are more to sell that many but it would certainly be a lot faster than waiting 13 weeks. The volume is increasing as time goes by and the SPI token is a top 30 token most days on the exchange in terms of volume ranking.
