STEEM's up 30% from in the past 24 hours - How this effects SPinvest

1 - Increased Fund value

Obviously, as the price of STEEM increases, the dollar value of as each SPI tokens increases with that. The total fund has jumped in dollar value by around $4000 in the past 24 hours and as over 90% of SPinvest total holdings are STEEM POWER this is the most important for us. Are earning's in terms of dollars would increase and our off-platform investments would soon turn from 3 digit investments into 4 digits. We are built on STEEM, we promote STEEM and we make are earning's from STEEM so any price increase is good for us.

2 - Off platform Investments

If the price of STEEM increases x3-10 fold our off-platform investments become worth less in terms of STEEM. This is because our investments are tracked in dollars and valued in STEEM. This sounds like a bad thing but on the flip side, the STEEM that we would be earning would be worth more in terms of dollars so instead of investing $150 per off-platform investment as we do now, we could be investing $1000+ at a time. And then on the flip side of that, when the price of STEEM decreases again during a bear market, these investments in terms of STEEM moon adding super high growth to SPI token prices. This ensures that SPinvest can produce a nice profit during both bull and bear markets.

3 - Tokens Sales

If the price of STEEM were to increase, i would have to assume that more people would be using steemit are one of its many frontends. I would expect fiat to SPI tokens buys to decrease and direct and steem-engine sales increase. Voting bots are gone and people having piles of STEEM sitting in their accounts be wasted. When its worth more, people will be more likely to look to reinvest it to make more. You have 1000 STEEM sitting in the account worth $100, you don't really care about making 50 cents from it every day but if that STEEM is worth $1000, you're missing out on $5 of passive income a day and people get interested. As far as steem-engine, i would also have to assume that tribe tokens earnings would increase with liquidity and daily volume increasing alongside that. This would result in more SPI tokens being issued through the exchange. More people using the platform will always produce more sales. (in theory)

It would be all-around good of this 30% jump in STEEM price holds are even dare i say it, increase. If STEEM was at $1 a pop right now, SPinvest would be earning over $25,000 per year and putting that into off-platform investments. That's not a huge number but it's far from a small one either. At today's price, SPinvest earnt $88 this week which is $4600 per year. With 9% of tokens issued, this is the tip of the iceberg. With a million tokens issued at today prices, we would have earned closer to $700. At $1 STEEM and a million issued, that works out at just over $3500 per week. We could be buying silver in kilo's and gold in ozs are even paying off a mortgage on a property we bought to collect rent from, lol.

Ok, my interested is peaked. What if STEEM went to and stayed at $5 someday after we have 1 million tokens issued. What would our earning be? and what would we do with them?

Based on earning 20% if achievable, earning on a $5 million fund would be $19,230 per week are $1 million per year. What in sam hell would we do with $19k of income every week? Open a fancy office and make it a full-time job? start a McDonald's franchise are just invest a huge amount of cash into gold, stocks and BTC? Could we compound the fook out of everything and create an endless stream of passive incomes that feed from one into another. Can we really get rich slowly in this manner? If STEEM ever hits $5, that would make a lot of well off but the opportunities for SPinvest would widen vastly. We would have to go legit and have to pay the 5 figure $ amount to do so. This is complete pie in the sky talk and that would be completely another level to where we are now but that level would be the start of the end level for SPinvest should it ever by some miracle get there.
