SteemPower Investments has taken over all my thoughts and it's pretty cool
Hello folks and welcome to Saturday's post. The plan for today's post was to write a "wheresthe STEEM POWER post where you'd have seen exactly were very single STEEM and STEEM cent is and how it is being used to earn us more STEEM but the morning has been spend talking on discord and getting idea's. Honestly guys, i have idea's falling out my ass. Some really good idea's, fantastic interactive club bonding ideas and a few sneaky but in a good way ideas as well. There are simply not enough hours in the day to get them out there so the plan is to dip feed them over months and months, real slow, dead slow.
Steem powered investments @spinvest has been set up to offer an investment fund based on funding from STEEM POWER. Investments are funded through extracting value out of STEEM POWER and taking advantage of STEEM's high inflation rate. It's hard to not get idea's that make perfect sense and would work really well but everything's going pretty good for now. There is almost 50000 SPI tokens issued which means that a dividend payment is coming to everyone that holds SPI tokens very soon and we are starting to do off platform investment's as a club by way of vote. There is plenty to do in the now and there is no intention to add are change everything about SteemPower Investments and it's investment club but the mind still wonders. Nobody needs to worry, nothing crazy is gonna happen and your money is safe, it's better than safe. It's earning STEEM everyday
BUT........

- We created a club member upvoting bot (newsteem friendly)
- We offered some sort of incentive for club members to swamp steemit with SPI posts
- We started a facebook, twitter, instagram ect groups to grow interest
- We built up the discord server proper with a few info bots
- We picked a charity to make a donation to every year (couple hundred STEEM)
- We split the token to reset the price
- We saved up and airdropped some SPI tokens to potential investors
- We powered down everything, bought a 3rd hand Lambo and shared it on a token holding equals time with Lambo
So there are a few thoughts, most of which will never happen. You could use these as seeds and maybe a few my idea's will give you idea's. Maybe an idea from above but tweaked, maybe something completely different that i could not think of. I like idea's so if you have any, please share them. We are here to learn, even Mr SP Invest with all his wisdom is learning new things everyday.
Keeping the post short today as i have spent most my internet time talking and researching a few things. I know i should be spending my time writing a good Saturday post but like said above, the mind wonders and sometimes you cant focus on anything until you google it to see what the score is. We are getting close to having 50000 SPI tokens issued but the actual @spinvest account now holds 49800 STEEM POWER and just on the edge of becoming an Orca. Great job everyone, that has happened fast and we are 10% the way to becoming a whale account

Does the split effect the total possible supply?
Nope, it's still 1 million max tokens

I love the idea of splitting the token. I remember that graph in High School where we were watching what happens when stocks split and I would LOVE to be a part of something that splits like that.

It's something to look into when the price increase's to 1.50 STEEM each so it's still a while off. When a stock splits 2-1, they double supply and this can be unlimited. With SPI there is a max token issue of 1 million meaning that already investors also retain a higher percentage of ownership.
If you owned 5% of all tokens when there are 500,000 issued and never bought anymore, when 1 million are issued you'll own 2.5% of all tokens. If a token was split from 500,000 to 1 million, you would still retain that 5% ownership.
