What's the problem

Every Spi token holder is on the @curangel blacklist. The list is not public but @pharesim kindly informed me that SPinvest's stated goal of "extracting value out of STEEM POWER and taking advantage of STEEM's high inflation rate." does not align with the values they promote. He was nice enough with his wording and actually knew what i wanted before i could ask him, so he's on the ball.

I'm gonna burn myself here but STEEM does not actually earn inflation so the problem is the exacting value from STEEM POWER which is what everyone does. It's what keeps the platform active and is essential to steemit. When you fill a lease request, when you join a curation trail, delegate to an upvoting service, delegate to any project that pays in upvotes, daily dividends are SE tokens. If you curate with your SP, your exacting value. This leaves me with many questions but I'm not gonna ask any because i believe it will lead to unwanted drama. It's like when you ask a priest hard questions, the replies are normally angry and blunt without answering your question and leaving you with no open door open to ask another.

I assume they will also blacklist everyone that fills lease requests as this is how spinvest exacts value from STEEM POWER. I personally think (hope) that whoever made that discussion does not fully understand what spinvest is and what is about. If they are fully aware, it has to be personal for whatever reason, maybe they just don't like SPinvest and it could be that simple. Remember, when there no rules are guidelines, any bullshit will do as an excuse.
Just to be clear, curangel's blacklist is for its curation trial. SPI token holders will not receive downvotes from curangel unless they manually do it which might be due to low-quality content

How does effect SPinvest?

Hmmm, my plan to power on and stick to the plan. It's not very often that SPinvest gets any hate thrown its way so it's most likely a one-off and is not really worth bothering about if it does not escalate. It's only a centralized curation trail at the end of the day. If token holders get added to blacklists, so be it. It's not in my hands, I believe there is little to be done about it, i do not think talking with these guys will help, i think it will make it worse. I have been trying to understand #newsteem values since it's launch but nobody knows, it's a like guarded secret that grants immunity. I'm only writing about it as it's content, i could have announced this on discord just as easy.

SPinvests offers a 95% buyback to any investor, nobody has ever taken the offer up but it's there. SPinvest will buy back tokens at 95% all day long any day of the week. Club members and most investors i assume by now have got a good idea of exactly how SPinvest has been set and operates.

So, with all the said, now you know that you can not hold SPI tokens and receive upvotes from the curangel curation trail.

I normally try my best to be biased but i can't help myself with stuff that makes no sense. If there were guidelines to follow, this post could have been about re-structuring SPinvest to be newsteem friendly but there are not any such things so this is what we get. A post that will probably get downvoted and a few haters in the comments. Lastly, I understand that curangel is not newsteem but the project seems to be the movements golden cow at the minute so that is why i refer to it as being run by newsteem.
