After a successful 10 man battle with Aston Villa in their last premier league campaign which ended 3-2 with a late free kick by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Arsenal also welcomed Nottingham forest on EFL Cup with a 5 nil defeat.

Konstantinos Mavropanos has been ruled out, Alexandra lacazette has been ruled out of the game too due to an ankle injury and have been ruled out until October Atleast.
