Some Thoughts About Steem and Tribes

in dtube •  5 months ago  (edited)

This post was partly inspired by @russellstockley post that he created yesterday about prolific innovation, where he has written about failures and the importance of learning from failures...

Also, I have received lately one comment about some dirty stuff that was happening on the STEEM before I was here, so I have touched that in today's video... Unfortunately, some of those acts from the past produced that we have a kind of people that don't understand the power of community and the essence of STEEM...

It sounds weird, but I believe that there are a lot of "heavy stakers" here on STEEM that have no clue what are they doing... Killing their investments with some moves that are hurting themselves and the whole blockchain... I know that some of my friends (@jongolson) have felt this on their back...

Anyways, I didn't want to create rant-post, but maybe some of you will consume it like that... This is just my point of view...

Thanks for a great video Zoltan, and I had not heard about someone wanting to downvote because of promoting your post on Twitter, promoting your posts there also promotes Steem and grows the whole Steem ecosystem, and there are a lot of projects also ones run by whales that are actively supporting such promotion, that guy needs to be told by other whales to stop or be completely blacklisted and demonetized, the top witnesses can stop him from transacting on the blockchain if they want and they reach consensus.

As to Steem as a rewards token, it's going away for that purpose, either in the SMT hardfork or some time after that, at least that is what is being talked about, it will transition to run the blockchain instead, RC and the main trading pair for all tokens will be the use case if that goes through.

Keep up your great work and stay awesome.

Those were just some old-farts and I don't want to spend my time on them... I want to keep it positive :)

As for STEEM and changing the course, it has to happen sooner or later... And I'm fine with that... The important thing is the community, and it can survive any turbulence!

Ok maybe I got a bit riled up there, stay awesome.

I know exactly what you are talking about and still not sure why I'm even in that group...Steem is it's own worst enemy at times.

There are good whales out there... The problem is that those "others" sometimes yell louder...

Still learning here, so I'm behind the thought curve a bit. I know I need some steem to create steam power. I have at least beginners power at ctp. Is it wise to go ahead and buy steem and just devote it to power or let it grow naturally from ctptalk?

It's just my thoughts about the dark history of Steem... It's better to not know some things... :) And it is just MY opinion, so don't follow me blindly :)

Anyways, I have a bunch of STEEM and will accumulate more, don't get me wrong... It's just a thing that I don't want to put all my eggs in the same basket...

I believe more in CTPTribe to succeed than STEEM (again, my opinion)... I mean, if we look at the token/coin price... As for tech, STEEM will survive.. no worries... ;)

Zoltan, thank you for this. You inspire me!❤️🧚‍♀️🙏

I didn't expect that... :) Thanks!
