🎥 Cryptocurrency Market Overview | 15.02.2020
Hello dear Steemians and Dtubers!
In this video, I started with Ned Scott's announcement of selling Steemit to Justin Sun from Tron and the upcoming live AMA with Justin Sun about Tron's acquisition of Steemit.
Then, I mentioned some important posts written by some of the STEEM blockchain witnesses in response to this extremely important event. For instance, I mentioned:
- yesterday's post by the witness @lukestokes : STEEM is still not Steemit, even if Tron buys Steemit
- Also I outlined some important comments by the top Steem witness @yabapmatt (who is also Creator of Steem Keychain, Steem Engine, & Splinterlands) in [a post](I guess I have to talk about the Tron thing?) published by @edicted .
- The announcement of @aggroed (a top witness and a Steem-Engine developer) about Steem Witness Forum Immediately Following the Tron Meeting on MSPWaves.

Thanks for a really great video @cryptospa, and yeah it's way too soon to know exactly what will happen ahead, but one thing that concerned me was the token swap and what was said in that liveshow is that it will not happen any time soon, however communities will be launched next week.
He also said that SMT's will be launched but I did not feel he really understood what that was, and more to the point he talked about Tron providing SMT functionality to Steem, so it looks more like that is how we will get SMT's on Steem, which kind of makes sense for Tron at least, and to some extent for Steemit since there is a growing demand for KYC to all crypto that would most likely have included the native Steem SMT's, but that is my thought.
