Usually this is the time of the day where I am finally home after 12+ hours of work, every day. Also this is the time where I finally have some time for myself to share with you my thoughts...

she's about to be back home in less than 1 hour...

...my concerns and all sorts of interesting ideas that I might have come up with. But before I do that I always scroll down my feed to see the new publications from the people I follow. So yesterday right before I "publish" my own post I saw a post from Dan. The title speaks for itself : "I powered up more Steem"...Now obviously, he wouldn't make a post to tell everyone that he bought a couple of thousand Steem tokens and powered them up. We are talking about da Beast.

So it had to be something huge. And it was huge indeed as he bought, powered up and later on delegated to ocd so that they can curate more effectively, 250.000 Steem.

So what does this tell you...?

-That he's a millionaire @mindtrap you fool...

Wrong answer ffs. I mean...he might be, but if you can't read between the lines then you have no chance to get the message...You see, he already holds tons of SP. Why would he buy more? Let me help you with that. He has so much faith in Steem that he keeps investing in it. Do you really think millionaires want to throw money away?

But the reason I write these lines tonight isn't to talk about why Dan is investing his money / crypto in Steem. The real question is -"Do you see what Dan sees? What I see? What many of us here see?"

Obviously for a millionaire, let alone for a multi millionaire, buying ~ 40.000$ worth of Steem isn't a big deal. But the analogy is the same...I guess it's not that much of a thing for you also, to spend a few dollars each moth and buy some steem, right? You can buy 60 Steem for 10$ nowadays...but you know that already don't you? So, I assume that you keep powering up...?

There is an amazing tool built by @steemchiller who deserves to get funded by the SPS by the way, so go cast a vote if you haven't already known as Steemworld.org where you can see who puts his money where their mouth is who was / is leeching, who is successful and who's not and probably a ton of other data as well.

So according to my stats...almost 2/3 of my SP has been bought and only the remaining 1/3 are my earnings both from posting and curating for the past 21 months. And trust me...that wasn't easy, nor cheap as my entry point was when steem was traded at 1.60$ In other words if I was patient enough I would probably hold 100K+ SP rather than 17.5K. But I kept buying all the way down to 0.156$ which was probably the ultimate bottom so far.

This mentality will drive the price of steem to go up...

Blogging, powering up the rewards and buy some more...repeat. Not this....

Nor this...

Many people are in need all over the world, I know and I wish there was a global "cure" but living off of chain is a dangerous sport...

We've been given free access to a blockhain where, if everything go according to plan, will "live" long after we've turned into dust. And so will your actions, behaviors, thoughts...writings, transactions...and we have an opportunity that others might begged for...

Do you really want to be left behind when this thing take off?

Similar to a post I wrote a while back. My view was do you have enough when this thing does take off?

We have an enormous opportunity here and will one be left with only a few STEEM because they could not buy into the idea many of us are consistently alluding to.

Of course, powering up is now only one way to enhance the ecosystem. I have bought STEEM and put it on Steem-Engine in an effort to buy tokens on there.

So many different ways to earn, and it is only growing.

There are indeed many ways to earn and build your account either by purchasing Steem and power it up directly or via Steem-engine. The sad thing when you see small accounts powering down and killing their rewards...

I mean seriously now...people sent 1 steem and 3 steem tokens to do what exactly?

Can't really help those who don't share the same mindset...sadly

With the "peanuts" I've powered up, I can not even stand in the shadow of 'da Beast'

Very few people can...but he's one 1/10000000 and he's also a fine guy. Rare combination actually

With this and that look at you man. You should be really proud. 40K already. You took advantage of the low prices and it was the smartest thing to do.

Follow Dan as well and like to listen to his "preaches". He motivates indeed and seems a good guy.

Those low prices balance out a bit the much higher prices I paid as well in the past ...

I'm now at the STEEM level where I feel confident it might make a 'real' difference in my life if it takes of. Of course I always want to get to 'the next level' and 'make more' but the first pressure that I felt all up until 10k did go away. But yeah, great post, keep reminding people to buy more/work harder and really be invested in STEEM before it 'launches' so to say. There's a lot of talk about not onboarding people to earn STEEM but just SMT's/Tribes and they might never see any STEEM in their wallet... Who knows. We'll be sitting well if that is going to happen.

For me that's anywhere between 10$ and 100$ per STEEM, where I expect my upvote value will actually make a difference on people's posts but also where I could fund my life in a substantial way just through doing what I already do and love doing on Steem.

Or maybe I'll just live from delegating RC's, or delegating SP, and be a happy shitposter on the newest hip app that's onboarding the masses and defeating Fb ;-)

100$???

I would sell my kidney for that price. The left one.

I am also one of those who wish there was a global cure, but as long as there is none, I seek to do in this world that I have to live.
