Next up in the Heroes of God Medallion's , is John F. Kennedy......
This is number two in the series, and looking at the next photo you will see that these two came delivered to Silvertop together.
These carry the same number in the set, they are both number 3497
Now this is a series of sixty, and this is the sad part....These two medallion's were the first to be mailed out, and then this series was canceled......by my parents...😔
As Silvertop stated in the first of this series, this was a low price leader to get mail order customers, and that they did....
Being a kid at the time my Fiat income was from cutting grass for the neighbors.
The going rate was $5.00 per cutting, per yard.....😏
So little Silvertop never had the working capital to continue, and sadly this series ended....
1.11 OZ troy for John F. Kennedy , it looks like they varied in troy weight. I wonder how many complete sets of 60 are out there ?🤔

An absolutely beautiful SS medallion, @silvertop! Your parents did well to subscribe to that series (too bad they cancelled). Do you know what was the depicted on the other medallions? And what a way to preserve the value of your labor (cutting grass)... by converting the fiat received for services rendered into silver... the one with true value! Even as a kid, you knew what real value was!

Kids @silversaver.......Both me and my friend had parents that encouraged us both to go to the Bank and exchange fiat for Silver Dimes and Quarters. His Dad would get rolls of Quarters (pre 1964 ).
If I could turn back the clock I would have cut more grass .....
