1 Hive Transfer-To-Saving Daily for the month of July Completed! Now, here comes August!

I can't believe I managed to complete the 1 Hive Transfer-To-Saving daily for the month of July! It took a lot of patience, perseverance and focus to complete them and it wasn't easy! Now that it is done, switching my gear towards August!

Month of July Hive Savings, completed!

Total number of days = 31 days = 31 Hive

It might seem to look like a small value, but honestly, it was really hard to be relatively consistent. It was done manually where every day, I will put aside 1 Hive into the Hive Savings and the hardest part was to be disciplined and consistent.

The last 31st transaction transferred to the Hive Saving marked the completion of the month of July. Now, I am looking forward to August.

Before underlying the plan for August, honestly speaking, I discovered more than just Hive Savings. I discovered the most important element throughout this self-challenge is knowing that the greatest obstacle is, yourself. Now, I am truly glad to be able to overcome the greatest hurdle and I am so ready for the next challenge.

Looking back at all the transaction made, I am truly happy not just because I managed to complete them, but now I have another 31 Hive saved too.

August Transfer-To-Saving Challenge

Now that July has ended, tonight is a good night to plan for the coming month, August. One of the things that came to my mind is, increasing the stack. Instead of 1 Hive, I am eager to increase to 2 Hive. Hence, the theme for August is,

2 Hive Transfer-To-Saving Daily (August)

The challenge is pretty simple, save 2 Hive and transfer to Hive Saving every day for 31 days. Do the simple math, that will save me 62 Hive in my Hive Savings and I can't wait to start!

Question, Is it going to be worth it in Hive Savings?

I guess that would be the most important question right? Honestly speaking, up until today, the Hive Saving feature is one of the function isn't or rarely used on Hive. All of the wallet I been through, none put aside in Hive Saving. In fact, the last I posted about this gained attention where mostly commented on the need to have a Profit Interest system, like a bank savings account, do.

Hive Savings 3 days withdraw period

Another function which I think makes Hive Saving unused is the fact that the need to wait for three days withdraw period. Is it practical to wait for three days? That might be the reason most users rather keep it in the liquidated Hive.

Moving forward, profit interest in Hive Saving?

Well, I am not so sure how this idea will impact the blockchain. From what I see, this might be good for investors and holders. I see Hive Saving can function something like that where users transfer Hive/HBD into the saving and the blockchain may start rewarding them based on the number of days using the profit interest system. But, my big question is, how does the system gain that pool reward? How much profit interest should be good not to affect the blockchain? Will this impact in terms of supply and demand? How about inflation?

There is just so much question, but the potential is there. I am interested to dig this thing a little deeper. Let's see where this will take me later on.
