All photos featured are from my collection. Taken at Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, Cambodia.

It has been two weeks since we were touring around Cambodia. It was a Tuesday too when we had our temple run. Tee-hee! Pardon the term I endearingly use to describe our visit to some of the amazing temples in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Visiting the Angkor Wat and actually being there was a dream. I can't even begin to describe what it feels like living a dream, seeing it come alive before your eyes. It was totally awesome!

I was looking at everything around me from a visitor's point of view, so I took lots of these photos as I admired what I seeing right before my eyes.

I'm amazed at how huge and tall the trees are all around. The ones I'm sharing here were taken from out front right before we entered, right inside the complex, and even the ones as we exited from the Angkor Wat complex.

In fact, I was fascinated that there seemed to lots of trees around Siem Reap. They provide the perfect shade for those who love staying outdoors. I do wish we have more trees in our city too.

The trees perfectly complemented the majestic Angkor Wat, don't you think? Throw in a pond in front and voila! It's awesome for some reflection shots. We had to take our turn and find the right timing to shoot without too many photobombers. LOL! ^_^

What an odd-looking huge tree! Two weeks down and I'm still staring at the photos I took during our vacation. My daughter and I are truly happy that we pushed through with our trip. It's also a good thing that there was no travel ban to Cambodia.

In a way, I wish our country had an intriguing past like Cambodia. The ancient sites there totally leave me baffled. I do wish we had an ancient site back home too. And I wish for more trees in the city too!

The last four photos were taken as we were walking out of the Angkor Wat complex. The whole area must have been hidden by the forest before it was cleared for visitors. It's also good to see that there's restoration and maintenance being done to this site.

Even some of the trees in the area are labeled and put under protection. I'm all for forest preservation. It will be great for our entire planet to have more forests.

Well, I hope you enjoyed my story snippet.
