I can't preach enough the importance of this!
This is your main business, even if you don't have any, this is your main thing you should invest your time with!
Offline business also follows this.
I like to give the example of hairdressers, even when they try to find a job, one of the things the company asks from them is their "wallet of clients", or followers so they can use it to their advantage. These hairdressers normally build their brand through word of mouth and saving phone numbers which is the simplest way to build the list out there. Today hairdressers have their own Facebook or Instagram page sharing their works and people who already know them will share with others and the number of followers increases. Some already use email to contact them!
How did the hairdresser got all those followers? Working on their brand! Showing of their work and word of mouth does the magic! And here's more magic: for some reason the hairdresser gets out of the first company, or the company goes out of business, or even now with Covid was shut down, thanks to that "wallet of clients" she built, she can come back with their own new company or changing for a new one, people will follow because they like, know and trust their work!
That's another motto!
Be visible! And bring value and creativity to your content!

Because I thought it was funny to make a Lead Capture Page with me sticking a CTP sticker on my forehead and title it "Stick to yourself!"
Because you should invest time and knowledge in yourself and build your brand and following and eventually your list :)
Here's one last magic: Your list is yours forever! You can go everywhere with even if your business goes down! You can start over and have a list already to give you a good kickstart! If you save the data properly of course 🤣
This week I scheduled a new time to check if there are results. Managed to change all the emails to go towards CTP Blueprint. Tried to be creative and direct and show them that there are good valued incentives inside like the Ebook and some Guides for free.
But today the task was about adding them to follow to our social media platforms so we can show our brand, build relationships through content creation.
So I will be adding some social media links inside the emails.
Today is about Content Creation!
And I believe I already did that by creating this post! And many others since the start of this adventure so...win!!

Make sure they hit that Noti bell! Social media has changed drastically over the last year. No longer do they care about who you follow instead the algorithms are built in a way to only show relevant information in which you interact with.
Ask questions, do polls do little things like this to build up engagement and from that engagement is how your posts will show more and more within their feeds.

Even if I don't have many followers at the start and by the time I wrote the first post, I did earn some money. Everything is better than zero. Unlike those influences and YouTubers need to work their butt off just to have enough views to earn something, not to mention having a certain amount of followers to start to see some results.
I gave the social media example as a way for the hairdresser to get followers to the "wallet of clients" aka her list and how is important to have a list when out of a sudden everything goes down. You might lose your business (knock on the wood but you never know) but you will never lose your clients if the relationship is well established.
Asking for feedback is also important not only to maintain that relationship showing that their word is valued but also a good way to get ideas for new content or improve yourself and your content!
