[ESP-ENG] Mi Piñata Hive - Hecha con Una Tapara | My Hive Piñata - Made with a Tapara
I am pleased to share with each of you, my little ideas, I hope you all are doing well, today I want to show you my Hive Piñata, I made it with Tapara, for my little sister. My mom told me that when she was little, my grandmother once made a Piñata with Tapara, and since my grandmother had given me one, I wanted to recreate those moments again. The Tapara, also known as totuma, tutuma, huacal or morro is a vessel of vegetable origin, fruit of the totumo or taparo tree (Crescentia cujete) that in all Central America, Bolivia, Colombia, Venezuela and Panama is generally used by native peoples as a cooking implement. It is used to contain liquids and solids, drink water and other applications. But we can also use it for whatever our imagination invents, so let's see the step by step:
-Materiales:
-Una tapara.
-Papel Crepe.
-Foami y Carulina.
-Pega.
-Tijera.
-Materials:
-One lid.
-Crepe paper.
-Foami and Carulina.
-Glue.
-Scissors.
-Pencil.
-Cutting blade.
-A small piece of wood.
-Tape, or a piece of thin cabuya.
-Step 1: We proceed to draw on the top of the Tapara, the place where we will open our hole, so we can remove everything that is inside, we do it carefully.
-Step 2: Remove everything that is inside the Tapara, wash it very well, let it drain and then dry it. We proceed to cut the crepe paper into strips, then cut lines on it, as shown in the image. This is to line our piñata, and make it more beautiful to the eye.
-Step 3: We glue little by little the crepe paper around our cover, gluing a black and a green row, to vary the colors. Then we draw the Hive logo, cut it out and glue it to a white cardboard, then we cut out the shape of our logo, this is so that the background remains white.
-Step 4: To the piece of wood, we tie the cabuya, this is to hold it at the time of grabbing the piñata, we introduce candies, our favorite, all to our liking, we also decorate the stick, with which the piñata will be given to the piñata.
Here I show you my final result, my sister was very happy with her piñata, thank you all for reading me, blessings to all, I love you all very much.
All photos are my Authored, and edited from canva.
This is a very clever piñata. I’ve never seen one made out of food. I love that you added the Hive logo ;)
