Push-up/Pull-up/Chin-up/Sit-up Challenge Week 7

I have worked ahead a bit, so I am starting this week on day 41.

Monday

  • 41 push-ups
  • 41 sit-ups
  • 5 pull-ups
  • 5 chin-ups

I’m back at it, and so far so good. I got all my reps in. They were tough but not too bad. I’m sure this week will get more difficult once I get more worn out though

Tuesday

  • 42 push-ups
  • 42 sit-ups
  • 5 pull-ups
  • 5 chin-ups

I got my reps in before work again. I’m starting to think I might make it to 50 without having to split things up.

Wednesday

  • 43 push-ups
  • 43 sit-ups
  • 5 pull-ups
  • 5 chin-ups

I didn’t have time to get my reps in until before bed today. I still got them in though. They aren’t getting any easier, but I feel like I am getting stronger. I may pause when I hit 50, and add something new to let my body catch up with doing 50 reps.

Thursday

  • 44 push-ups
  • 44 sit-ups
  • 5 pull-ups
  • 5 chin-ups

It was tough to get my reps in this morning, but I did it. I was still a little fatigued from my workout last night. It wasn’t too awful, but the sit-ups were a lot tougher than normal.

Friday

  • 0 push-ups
  • 0 sit-ups
  • 0 pull-ups
  • 0 chin-ups

I skipped my workout today. I didn’t get to it in the morning, and then the day got away from me. I’m hoping to make up for it tomorrow.

Saturday

  • 0 push-ups
  • 0 sit-ups
  • 0 pull-ups
  • 0 chin-ups

I missed today’s workout too. I was way too busy. I don’t feel too bad about it though, because I got in over 10,000 steps.

Sunday

  • Rest day

I’ve chosen Sunday to be my rest day, so this is the end of my seventh week. Tomorrow will start my eighth week, and I will be on day 45 of the challenge. I missed a few days this week. I think I might add a second rest day to the mix on Wednesday to help break up the week, and give my body time to recover. I am starting to get burned out the way I’m doing things now.

Here are the rules again in case you want to join the challenge.

Do 1 push-up and sit-up, adding 1 additional push-up and sit-up for each day of the challenge.
Do 1 chin-up and pull-up, adding 1 additional chin-up and pull-up for each 10th day of the challenge
You can work ahead but only if you complete all of the exercises for that day.
You can split up the exercises throughout the day as long as they are all done by the end of the day
