Life is good again - Getting out of the Gig-Economy

Finally some good news for everyone here. All the work that I have put into this project over the last year is starting to bear fruit. I am gaining traction on some of my online offerings, I'm picking up productised projects (about $50k worth) and my inbound calls are up.

This means that I'm going to be crazy busy over the next three months and may actually get back into the black by the end of the year.

The projects that I have picked up are perfect for refining the workflows that I have been working on in parallel to all the content marketing that I have been working on. These workflows allow me to do things once, I sell the service, receive their data, funnel the data into the various scripts and transcribe the results into a form report.

I have designed the flows and scripts with assumptions that these projects may challenge, but that is the point of refinement.

Next step, execution

Now comes the hard part, executing on the ideas and promises. I expect that some of these projects will be learning experiences, but if my hypothesis is correct these same projects will be "boring" by this time next year. I will be able to charge the same and they will consume 1/2 of the time (or less).

When I'm completing $50k worth of value within 1 month vs 3, then I will be able to focus on selling and training. Selling to new clients and training contractors on how to manage the data. the secret sauce is the interpretation of the data and report development. That is something that I will continue to do, but everything that leads to that is the time consuming part.

Oh yeah, and with the work that I have in the funnel now, I will meet my original goal of $5k of revenue with 20hrs of work and then some :) It also means I will have a buffer going into 2021 to develop more digital products that should increase my hourly rate even more.

No more loafing for #noloafing

All of these posts will be tagged with the #noloafingmoney so if you want to see what I'm doing over there, that is the place to do it.

Its time for me to stop loafing and get involved. Plan to see a lot more of me on this platform and the other front ends.

The goal

The goal is to build a product or series of products that allows me to scale. The financial goal is to build a business that has a monthly revenue stream of $5k with less than 20hrs worked on average by the end of 2020

The Why

If this is your first time here, thanks for stopping by. I wrote my first post on this topic in November 2019. They all have a "special" tag, so you can find them all here: #noloafingmoney. If you want to see where this all started, its with this post, Money and the Gig-Economy.

How I'm Doing

August Update:

Revenue:

  • New Business: $50k (not paid yet, but I have the POs)
  • Hive Life: $ HBD (this is all being re-invested into HBI)
    TOTAL :
  • Expenses: $500

Profit: $49500 (potential, there may be expenses for the incoming work)
