What are the on-block methods of helping one another?
@ph1102 - This one was a great one:
Where to Invest? .:. Content Creators Edition!
^^^ Read ph1102's post.
This post resonated with me. I completely understand the frustration of losing focus. Recommitting yourself by focusing on promoting others on the chain is a wonderful way of paying it forward. When the COMMUNITY does this, instead of just one person, then the growth seen is tremendous.
And that's not just growth in coin value. It's growth in relationships.
With that said, I would love it if we could discuss on-block methods and tech that can be used to help each other.
I'll start:
- liking
- commenting
- discussing and true engagement <- This.
- tipping
- bots\commands that tip with tokens.
- linking to other posts
- creating sub-community around specific hashtags ( #iaac, #myhivegoals,
- assigning a beneficiary to your content to share the reward (I did this for the first time on THIS post...)
- curation trails
What else can you think of? I am sure there's a lot.
When creating content, knowing ways of including others and weaving that into your content is a great way to help each other out. I have observed that the folks who really stand out on the blockchain tend to do so because of community.
When a community behaves in a caring way and promotes their fellow citizens, good things happen.
Thank you @ph1102 for writing a great post and video.
And for those of you who read posts to the end, the photo above is me and a peacock clock my wife purchased. That thing worries me. 😀

Thanks for the mention, Rob! Appreciate the shoutout!
Like you, I have also made a short (or long) break from Hive (less engagement, paused my work on ThisIsAwesome) in December last year, as I had some major works to do off-chain...
But, after finishing my work around Christmas, I was caught by holidays, and soon I have found myself in mid-January... I have lost my routine heavily, and it looks that my "spark" vanished, also... I didn't think that it can happen after 2 years on this blockchain, but it happened...
I needed this to be able to observe certain things from a different perspective... I'm slowly coming back, but I know that it will be different this time... We will see how... lol...
Nice to see you back, Rob... I hope we will meet each other in the comment section!

Nice! I just went by the initial Wine post and read up on it. So I'll start using that one on posts and help spread the word.

tokens.Hahahaa what's wrong with the picture?
Yeah, I'm fairly new here, but I'm happy to have met and know the people/community's here.
The clock is...interesting. I still prefer cuckoo clocks, but I admire the creator trying to expand the universe of bird clocks.
There's a ton of great clocks out there. I own several mid-mod starburst clocks.
I remember those!
Perhaps I should make a post with photos of my misc. clocks.
Please do! I think a lot of people here would enjoy seeing them.

Communication and engagement with other is the key
Thanks for sharing
You are most welcome, and thanks for commenting. Yes, Engagement is critical. I am just coming back to the blockchain, and what worked before is what worked now: Social engagement, content creation, and being helpful.
You can also help by being encouraging, teaching, and providing constructive criticism. Helping others to grow intellectually and emotionally can be just as important as helping them grow monetarily.
Exactly. That's why I said: "And that's not just growth in coin value. It's growth in relationships."
That has no monetary value. Priceless really.
Thank you for this awesome post Rob @robwillmann! The greatest thing that we can do is helping others to succeed. The more people that we get to know and help the better our life will be.

Agreed. I think helping others is the best way to success. People don't forget those who helped them. You never know when you may need help yourself. :)
