Walk to the Office

All photos featured are from my collection. Took the street photos one afternoon on my way back to the office after lunch.


I started out from the back street of the building where I live. This corner is surprisingly quite popular, as it had been a venue for location shooting for some TV commercials. It was even used in one of the local films. It looked pretty ordinary to me, but I suppose it's because I see it every day.

Work place is around 5 small blocks or so from home. Walking home for lunch and back to the office after has been part of my daily routine since we moved to that office building. I'm not complaining as I welcome the daily exercise. Besides, five blocks isn't too far, if you ask me.

So here, I turn right to walk back to the office building.

Here's the view from two blocks away. Do you see that gray building on the right? Yup, that's where I'm headed.

Here's my perspective shot taken at the foot of the building. The streets around our work building is pretty busy with container vans and delivery trucks being loaded to carry stocks to nearby provinces.

Let me share with you the elevator view from our floor. It takes at least ten minutes for the elevator car to reach the almost top. It's part of the daily wait as well.

Being this high up means there's a nice view outside the window. There is, however, some grills for extra protection. This is the best shot I could take with my smartphone.

Surprise! I took this during one of those all-by-myself moments inside the office. ^_^ We are required to wear masks to enter the building premises.

My favorite part of the office is the terrace garden! So lovely esp. during lovely weather. This was taken one early morning. We're the only one in the entire building with this view. With the exception of the penthouse of the building which is off limits to the public. They probably have the best view. ^_^
