Brawl is worth playing in Splinterlands

I have been part of one of the bigger guilds called The Power for quite some time. Brawl is something that I was not aware but recently I started playing this. I used to get notifications within the game account to take part but I hardly paid any attention for so many months. It is because I was not aware of how it works and even I never thought of giving it a try to explore it. Sometimes we are in a zone where we do not want to explore anything new and probably I have also followed the same thought process. But I admit that it was my mistake however now I have rectified it and started playing the same in the game.

Brawl is something that we can play only if we are part of any guild in the game. If your guild wins the league then all the participants are rewarded with merits and these merits can be used to buy the packs in the shop. If you visit the shop option on the game website then you will be able to see a tab called guild. This is where you can see the option to buy a gladius case pack and merits are required to buy this pack. These cards can be purchased but you not be able to trade these cards however you can play with most of the battles in the game.

The cost of one pack is 2000 merits and the procedure is the same as we follow with other editions. Every pack contains five cards which are random and you can expect at least one card from rare or higher rarity. Again I would like to mention here that you cannot trade these cards but it is good for the gameplay especially when you are playing with the guild.

I still think that it is the initial stage and maybe the team will work on it and enhance it further. I have also seen a proposal where it is proposed that here also SPS will be rewarded but I am not sure how it is going to work. I am not in favor of rewarding the SPS here because I think this way PS distribution will be a lot and I do not want this to happen. When any coin is highly distributed then we cannot expect the price to go higher because people will have more coins with them. SPS is a governance token and limited distribution should happen so that the inventory can be controlled. It is a simple concept that is based on supply and demand which means if there is less demand and supply is higher then we cannot expect the price to go upside but if it goes otherwhere then prices are expected to grow.

Now since I have started playing so I earn some merits and I use them to buy packs. Now we also earn merit from the season reward so this way if you are participating in a brawl then you should be able to get more merits. I am at 2 explore more about it because this is something I liked but I will check out more about it and will share my further experience in a future post.

There are some additional benefits if you are part of any guild which is doing well and also an active community. This additional reward can be in form of discount on record purchases as well as a slightly enhance reward in the game but for this, there has to be a good level after guild. Dec token is used to level up the guild and you can check more about it by joining any guild that you like or exploring if you're already part of. So far I enjoy the reward that I get after the battle and this is also helping me to have some additional cards in my account.
