I guess there are good and bad reasons for buying packs. I bought a bunch of them when I first started the game and it did give me a good fan count and skills. At that time I had no idea what a card did or did not do for me. I am level 53 with 1505 fans and 1678 skills. I still don't know what I am doing, lol.

I mostly try to keep lower fans as EGO is raised. I buy cards with more skill and less fans
