It is really good to put up a fence to your home. Aside from keeping the privacy for your family, it is also good to avoid neighbors from taking advantage of the space that's supposed to be your property. And it's one of the reasons why people would always love to build up their fences, to set boundaries.

Ideally everyone would be a good neighbor, and we could live without boundaries, but because their customers are always peeing on our land, and they litter and burn trash everywhere, it will prevent any chance of us running a successful bed and breakfast. All too often I've walked outside in the morning to see a stranger with his š out peeing next to our cabin, so inappropriate.
