I stopped believing in the 10,000-hour rule because I don't think you can properly time a person's success. Then again, what if that field just isn't it? I believe in effort and foresight. Pick the right business model that is futuristic and run with it, no matter what.
Let's be honest, not every business is going to have relevance in 5 or even 10 years. That's the only way to get that big break. But this is entirely IMO

That's a really good point.
Choosing a video rental business won't have much future in a few years or even today lol But that's part of being an entrepreneur. Finding out the markets that do have a big future!
