RE: Relighting My Hive Journey with the Hivetorch!

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

we have a saying in Surinamese 'Temre man oso no abi bangi'. Literally translated meaning, 'The carpenter doesn't have a bench at home'

In English we have a similar expression about the cobbler and his children's shoes, so I completely understand. As, I am sure, do many folk in the Hive. I also find myself with the prospect of a day job that will involve a lot of writing and which will mean my presence will (already has) reduce(d). It's life and it's good.

A little delay is no problem. I did know that the torch would be in good hands. And I do like the symbolism of the amount you contributed.

I am sure that we both might have a little hiatus, we are not lost to the community. For myself, I know this, and I hope for you, too.

I am sure that @tanjakolader is a worthy torch bearer.

Thanks for being so empathic @fionasfavourites 🙏.

I do feel that I have to engage a little bit more, but maybe this is what I needed to get a little bit more involved again 🙂

Good. And perhaps you can find a way to balance it. It should be fun and not a chore. I had to learn that, too.
