I have been averaging 10 comments per day and it is very helpful for my network growth and the community. I get to interact with other community members and learn new things via their posts. Before I mostly create content and consume a little but that has changed this month and it has come with some positive benefits.

The effect of commenting is often underestimated by people. I started in a similar fashion. I wrote my content and sometimes engaged on my own posts. The problem there were very few people reading them.
I then started to take the habit to visit at least 5 posts a day from other people and to leave a comment on them. This helped to increase my network and I also got much more engagement on my own posts. I believe that engagement through comments is the key to success on hive. It get even better thanks to tools like the one I present in this post.
